These Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies will take you to unexpected places! They’re versatile and carry almost any flavor you put on them. In this guide I include tips to make it your own. Bonus Point! They’re very rich, so you may have them for dessert for a few days and not get bored of the variety!



For the cookies:

  • 1 Cup unsalted butter
  • 1 Cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Ganache:


For The cookies:

  • Mix the butter, peanut butter, and sugar together in a bowl; beat in the eggs.
  • In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir into butter mixture. Chill the dough in the fridge for 1 hour.
  • Scoop and put on baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 375 degrees F oven for about 10 minutes or until cookies begin to brown.
  • Let cool

For the Ganache:

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate pieces and heavy cream. Stir. When mixture is combined, lower the heat to keep the chocolate warm but not cooking still. This will let you coat the cookies without burning yourself.


You can add anything to flavor the cookies. Try a mixture of lemon zest & chocolate, or orange. Add chopped almonds for a crunchier bite. Or play with some other herbs! Mint sounds good….
