February TRAFFIC METRICS & SOURCES
Welcome to the state of the blog address! Every month I write on the blog’s performance, what we’re doing, and how we keep improving from the previous month.
The numbers
Sessions: 1,243
Unique Visitors: 1,012
Pageviews: 1,596
We’ve grown! Admittedly, the blog this month has not been filled with new posts. I proposed to Alicia and in the midst of those preparations, we were also moving into our new place. So there wasn’t much being added while all our gear was being packed and shipped across the city.
Coming back to the blog, we’ve grown about 20% more since last month. Our top post is still the Ultimate Charleston Red Rice which ranks top on Google Search for the same term.
Goals for March
We are tweaking the blog’s landing page and updating the theme to better display the dishes that are being displayed. Updating themes on the Genesis Framework will better serve how different components are displayed on the site by adding more widget areas.
Stay tuned for next time!
A little about me
I’m a chef and a former psychologist. I spent years studying how we experience food to make the best eating experiences possible- and I show you how to eat well on this site. I host secret popups in Miami, FL teaching people how to approach good food that’s never been done before.
